1966 Topps Baseball
#500 Hank Aaron

This issue featuring Braves icon Henry Aaron is #500 of 598 cards within the very popular 1966 Topps set. This set was issued during the first year the Braves franchise was located in Atlanta, moving there after having been in Milwaukee for the previous 13 seasons.

Hall-of-Fame legend Aaron had a great year in 1966. He led the National League in both home runs (44) and RBI's (127). He was also named to his 16th consecutive All Star team, where he made a starting appearance in the outfield alongside fellow greats Willie Mays and Roberto Clemente.

This pristine uncirculated example has been graded MINT 9 by PSA. The centering is outstanding. All four corners are pinpoint-sharp and free from any hints of wear or handling. The borders are pure-white. Aaron's image is clearly registered and features rich bold coloration and superb definition. The card-front is saturated with a brilliant glossy finish. And the back is highlighted by a bright salmon-pink background and ultra-bold jet-black lettering.
