1952 Berk Ross
Stan Musial

This issue featuring Cardinals Hall-of-Fame great Stan Musial is one of 72 unnumbered cards within the 1952 Berk Ross set. This "Hit Parade of Champions" issue was the last of two sports trading card sets published by Berk Ross, Inc. of New York, NY in 1951 and 1952.

Stan Musial had one of the greatest careers in the history of baseball. Over the course of 22 seasons (1941-1944 and 1946-1963), all with the St Louis Cardinals, he was named to 24 All Star teams, won three World Series championships, was a seven-time batting champion, and won the National League's MVP Award in 1943, 1946 and 1948. Musial was a model of consistency throughout his over two decades-long career.

This example has been graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Musial's image and the background scenery are boldly colorized. The corner quality is excellent, the borders are a very attractive antique-white tone, and the black lettering on the back is sharply impressed. There is just a single finer PSA certified example.
